Although much of the university is on summer break, the financial aid office is busy making returning student financial aid awards. Please make sure your students check their Whitworth email often as we will be sending financial aid award notices to that address, along with important communication to students regarding missing documents required to finalize their financial aid awards.
So that your student’s award is as accurate as possible, please remind them to report their expected outside scholarships to our office either by reporting them through this link or by notating them on the confirmation billing which will be also be emailed to returning students from the student accounting services office via their Whitworth email during the first part of July. This email will have detailed instructions including important deadlines and will include your student’s billable charges along with their expected financial aid. If your student is an incoming freshman, this important email will be sent at the end of this month. The due date to return confirmation billing, Perkins Loan paperwork (mailed out to students at the end of June, if applicable) and payment for fall semester is August 1st.
